Which ICanHost plan is better?

Each plan is designed to serve a particular need. For experienced internet users who only wish to run a small website or blog, the Basic plan is more than enough. For advanced users and companies hosting large amounts of data for an equally large amount of visitors, the Standard or Whole Plans are ideal. Our pride and joy, however, is our Entrepreneur Plan which is specifically designed to give Entrepreneurs a leg-up in the world of online business. Click here for details on our Entrepreneur Plan.

Can I still get access to the E-Business Learning Center if I don’t select the Entrepreneur Plan?

Yes. Access can be purchased at any time in our Upgrade/Addon section (Client Area).

What are the available payment methods for ICanHost?

We accept payment through Paypal (which also accepts credit card payments).

Can I do CGI scripting on ICanHost?

Yes, we allow CGI script usage with your agreement that the script is not malicious, harmful, or in anyway illegal. Please note that ICanHost requires all CGI script permissions set to 755 (rwx-rx-rx).

Can I upgrade my ICanHost Hosting Plan later?

Absolutely. You can upgrade your services from within the Client area, or submit a support ticket and we will help you through the process.

What kind of technical support is provided at ICanHost?

ICanHost provides 24/7 technical support via email or the ticketing system. We encourage our users to make use our of extensive KnowledgeBase.

How long will it take to get my website online?

The process is starts as soon as we receive your payment. Unfortunately, DNS entries take time to propogate and can sometimes take 24-72 hours to sort out globally (this is out of our control).

What kind of control panel does ICanHost use?

We use CPanel (the best Control Panel out there in our opinion). You can see a demo at the developers website (click here)

Can I host adult websites at ICanHost ?

Yes, we allow adult websites (with your agreement to our Terms and Conditions).

Do you support any Auto-Installation applications?

Fantastico Deluxe is available to all clients and makes the following Open Source Applications available within seconds.

Do I get a SSL Certificate with my hosting plan?

Yes. A shared SSL Certificate is included with all hosting plans for free. If you would like to purchase an SSL certificate of your own, you can do so in the Upgrades/Addons area (client area)
